About Us

We love what we do.

We are working vigilantly so that Indigenous People have equitable access to jobs, training and education opportunities in response to the TRC’s Call to Action #92.  As an ally, we are motivated to help Indigenous Job Seekers to connect with opportunities for work and find a fit for themselves within progressive companies that support Indigenous inclusion, employment and retention.  We aim to do all that we can, and inspire others to do the same.

Our story

Hello! We are The Connect Partnership Group (CPG).

Our executive team is made up of seasoned event producers that have worked with the industry sector for over 30 years. With this experience came a passion to make social change and an inspiration to do better. We recognized there was an important gap that required a bridge and there was a lack of opportunities to learn, share knowledge and connect with communities and Indigenous Peoples in a meaningful way.

This desire to make change and connect people in meaningful ways is what formed The Connect Partnership Group. We knew our passion to do better required allyship, advocacy and action. We formed an Indigenous leadership council to guide our work – Forward Summit (Indigenous Economic Reconciliation) and Workforce Forward (Indigenous HR Inclusion Strategies Conference) were born. We also helped our partners use digital technologies to replace in-person Indigenous job fairs during the pandemic, which resulted in our team launching inclusity.ca.

Our portfolio of events looks to make change, inform, build meaningful connections, advocate for truth, reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and communities. We knew with our connections to Corporate Canada we had to bridge the gap with Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s 94 Calls to Action and so we have been hard at work producing events on issues and opportunities we care about.

Indigenous Employment Experience

Employment is challenging for both hiring companies and Indigenous job seekers.  The past years during the pandemic have made this even more challenging: unable to meet in person, relying on technology to make connections all while navigating your personal health and wellness and that of your family. Inclusity has been developed to solve a problem and help Indigenous People overcome employment challenges. As an organization, we have spent the last year working to develop a proven platform for Virtual Job Fairs. Our experience and success delivering Virtual Job Fairs for First Nations and Métis Communities inspired us to want to help more people and create a platform that could help thousands of Indigenous People connect with the right employers. Inclusity.ca is a hub of resources and collaborative partners dedicated to Indigenous Employment.

Our work

We’ve been at this for awhile and we love what we do. We are content and event producers and we also help our partners deliver events to reach their business objectives. We have networks with thought leaders, industry and we are always striving to connect people, ideas and learnings with one another – Indigenous economic reconciliation, technology, health and wellness – we consider ourselves champions on these causes.
